PLANNING YOUR EVENT

Whether you are planning a wedding, a corporate event, a celebration of life, or an intimate party, the Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden has something for every occasion. Plan a event of up to 100 people in our beautiful garden and/or our 1700s Warehouse, which is a great venue for a variety of different programs and events, due to its versatility, modern AV equipment, and great acoustics. We welcome nonprofit organizations and other groups to consider partnering with us to bring a special event to the public.

We'd love to host your corporate offsite meetings for up to 100 people. Our AV equipment is perfect for your PowerPoints and videos. Contact us below to get a quote.

WEDDINGS/CEREMONIES

Celebrate your love in our gorgeous historic garden with views of Portsmouth harbor. Whether you’re having an intimate ceremony for 2 or a larger wedding for 100, we are honored to be your host. Choose a package that fits your needs, each named after a member of the Moffatt-Ladd families. THE POLLY - $1000.00 Our ceremony package, perfect for an elopement or a ceremony with 20 or fewer people. Two hours of garden use for an intimate ceremony and photographs. Our historic 1700s Warehouse will be available in case of inclement weather for no additional charge. The 20 person limit includes vendors and officiants. THE MARIA - $2500.00 Our ceremony package is ideal for up to 100 people. Three hours of garden use includes a half-hour photo session inside the Great Hall for the couple only. Set-up and clean-up is included in the 3 hour time. Our lovely 1700s Warehouse will be available in case of inclement weather for no additional charge. THE KATHARINE - $4000.00 This package includes the ceremony and reception for up to 20 people. You have full use of our beautiful garden and charming 1700s Warehouse for five hours, including set-up and clean-up. We provide the ambiance and you provide the rest. THE SAMUEL - $6000.00 This ceremony and reception package is for up to 100 people. You have full use of our beautiful garden and delightful 1700s Warehouse for six hours, including set-up and clean-up.
